I'll Buy that for a Dollar!

Know 'When to Buy' to Reduce Your Business Expenses

Almost anything can be purchased cheaper if you buy:

  • Around “holidays” – who doesn’t like a ‘Ground-Hog Sale’
  • At the end of the month instead of the beginning
  • At the end of the year instead of the beginning
  • At the end of your vendors’ fiscal quarter (if they are publicly traded)

This is true because of:

  • Sale quotas and bonuses (your purchase can put the sales person in a ‘bonus’ category)
  • Corporate Wall Street reported projections (this affects your vendors’ stock price)
  • Backend deals with manufacturers (rebate incentives for volume moved)
