Twack Biz Twexpenses on Twitter?
Finally a purpose for Twitter other than incessant ramblings!
Ok, you got all of your receipts together (sort of) and your mileage log is somewhere, and you have are trying to remember all the clients you visited for the month. Yeah, good luck remembering everything.
We have found a simple web tool to track monthly expenses on the fly. This allows you to tweet, email, IM and several other ways to quickly log your expenses. Xpenser http://xpenser.com/ catagorizes and talleys your expenses for you so you don't have to add them up at the end of the month.
The coolest feature is you can RSS feed your expense reports to your office assistant or the corporate accounting department. Just have the corporate accounting department set up a separate news aggregator, like Bloglines http://www.Bloglines.com, and have all employees that have expense budgets listed in the aggregator. This will give the accounting department a real time expense report and minimize the turn-around-time for the field to get expense reports to accounting. (We know what a pain this can be.)
If you want to track personal expenses for your budget you can use Tweetwhatyouspend.com http://www.tweetwhatyouspend.com
