Batteries, Batteries, We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Batteries!

For many businesses that depend on batteries to run their tools and equipment rechargeable batteries is the only way to fly.
The average use of a battery is between 300 and 500 charges which can save hundreds of dollars a year. The only drawback is sometimes when you need a battery it is not recharged and you are out of luck.
Here are a few tips to running your life off of rechargeables:
- Slowly convert all your batteries to rechargeable batteries. This will allow you to have extra batteries recharged at the time you need them instead of having to wait for the batteries to recharge. Of course you only find out the batteries are dead when you are trying to use device!
- Have multiple rechargers in your office. The newer chargers shut off after the batteries are charged so they don’t use phantom power. A battery will also keep 50% of their charge for up to 6 months while in storage.
- Have a charger in your car. For many businesses like insurance adjusting you need a camera at all times. This will come in handy. Also when you go on vacation; I can’t tell you how many arguments my wife and I got in because we did not have batteries for the camera.
